Thank you baby, I had a great holidays..

Truthfully, I was afraid that i will not be able to have a great holidays but i was wrong. I had so much fun with my hubby in Malacca from Friday until Sunday.
These are the things that we do together, and followed with pictures that i took just to put in my little diary.
1. Friday was Adriel's bday party
We went out from home  at about 930am. Had bfast at Kak Ani's nasi lemak place in Taming Jaya, Head to Seremban to send aby's colleague cuppies a day prior to her engagement day. The cuppies was made by my colleague and by far, her cuppies are just simply delicious.
From Seremban, we headed to Malacca using the trunk road. We stopped by at Cendol Leman. I remembered the place where the pakcik used to sell Cendol with Pulut on his cart. Now, he has a much bigger place and the unique thing about the place is the Pakcik usually recites fact be it maths or info on places/ distance etc. And another unique thing is, the place is also  bottomless Cendol which means you can top up cendol, ice or the gula melaka.
We then headed back to Malacca. Once we reached Malacca, we went straight to Jusco to buy Adriel's gift and drove straight to Connie's resident. Meet up my aunties and cousins. By the time we got home, we were tired and planned for tomorrow's activities.

2. Saturday is our Umbai and Zoo Melaka day
We wanted to go and catch the duck ride but the moment we drove to Malacca city, looking at the jam, we headed towards Umbai. Had our wonderful meal and decided to go to the Night Safari at Zoo Melaka. Since both of us have never been there, so both of us were excited. Glad both of us had teh thrill of being  tourists. We met kongkang, just like monkey but really slow creature and also my favorite was the squirrel monkey. So cute primates. We then decided to take the tram instead of walking the whole 2 km since it's at nite. It was a great experience as we had the chance to see different types of birds, deers, cows, crocodile, tigers, lions etc. Since it was dark, I didn't get the chance to take photos as  i have not adjusted myself with the camera just yet. After Zoo Melaka, we went to Romantika shop and bought a beautiful flower in a pot to be placed on our dining table in KL. Very nice indeed.

3. Sunday is our Everly Resort and Pantai Puteri day
Abg Long aka Abg Khalid came to our place and showed us a new place for roti canai at Kelemak area. They chatted and told aby that there will be a meeting tonite and he is required to attend. Looks like our Jonker Walk is not gonna happen. We then head home and went out to pick achik up at the market. We dropped her off at home and wanted to do a surprise visit to Abg Jai. Once we reached their place, it was all locked up and we were given the suprise instead as they wanted us to join them at the relative's wedding ceremony. Since we were underdress, we decided to go home and change. We packed up some stuff as we went to Everly Resort. Since we are going back to Kuantan next week, so I bought some dodol for the family.
We went back to aby's apartment and rested for about an hour. We then headed to Pantai Puteri - to walk by the beach. There was pasar malam being set up so we bought some food and had rojak. Walked by the beach and went back to the resort since Aby have got to go to the meeting tonite.

Thanks baby for the wonderful weekend and i will try and arrange something for our Kuantan trip k. Love ya baby.

Christmas Week

Other than going to work and meetings, I did other things as well :) Proud of myself as  I wanna push myself out from my comfort zone. Let me see, what did I do.. ok, here are the lists:

Congratulations Gee!!

This holiday is filled with weddings. Me and Lie, my colleague convoyed with Sazu to Temerloh border to Maran for Gee's wedding. It was really far. But then again, it's nice to see Gee and her 'atuk'. So cute together.

When we arrived, Gee was waiting for her hubby to come in with paluan kompang. She looked so sweet with her natural looking makeup and of course, happy...

So when the hubby finally arrived, Gee salam and kissed the hubby's hand before they go in for the bersanding session. We went to have lunch. The food was good! We had delicious Malaysian masakan kampung, opor daging, sambal tempoyak, ayam bakar and umbut kelapa. All the food tastes reallyy great. Then we went in to take photo with the Raja Sehari. Congrats again Gee. Moga berbahagia ke anak cucu and cicit, InsyaAllah. We foud out that the opor daging was actually daging kerbau and the umbut was kelapa sawit :)

Teringat on my wedding day about 2 years plus ago. So happy and Alhamdulillah, we're happier now coz we know each other better now.

Beautiful Friday - day for myself on Awal Muharram

I love yesterday! My publlic holiday was filled with loads of activities:
1st: i went for bfast with Kak Fara & kids at Puan Berseri-seri

2nd: Then we went to have Manicure and Pedicure at Mico Salun in Bandar tun Hussein Onn - i have always wanted to have this. I also did half leg waxing there. It's a lucky thing that i am used to using Nair hair removal wax, so it wasn't painful. I must say if someone is not familiar, alot ouches could be heard.

3rd: At 1220pm i stopped my pedicure because our new fridge sampai. So i went back home and then sambung my manicure.
4th: Lepas mani & pedi, went back to kak fara's place. tumpang tujar baju and also solat zuhur coz this is the first time me going to the GYM!!!! Yayyy!

5th: Went to the gym. Met Halim at 3pm. A cute and comel personal trainer. He explained to lme the benefits of having a personal trainer which i agreed. But that means another investment of RM100/ session and he suggested to start with 12 sessions dulu. Gave him my credit card but ader trouble in charging it to my card. Not once but twice. That's like a taboo in my life. If things dont go smooth, i will not proceed. So i told halim to stop at that time. So we went and trained for my 1st free personal trainer training session. Huhu. it was hard! I could hear My body fats are all screaming... NOOOO, don't burn me!

6th: Once the session ended, i went and claimed my 1st free half back massage pulak at the spa. Bestnyer kak Aidah urut but it left some bruises on my back. She said my urat all dah bersimpul and suggested for me to take more massages courses. She does personal massgae at home but mahal la.. Bila dah habis, i went for Solat Asar

7th: Promised Safinas to teman her for a friend's wedding after solat maghrib. So we went for the dinner at TTDI Community centre. Good food :) baru pi gym dah kantoi makan malam pulak tuuu...My body has started to request for a rest.

We went back home and rest for a bit. Solat isyak and then i terus masuk tidur. It was a great day for me. I just love it!

Today, i am going for another wedding in Temerloh. It's my colleague's wedding.Told Lie, i will be meeting her at the Giant Kelana Jaya at 1030am. But my body is not feeling so good. Perhaps i will get Lie to drive instead.

Dear Gym, here i come...

I enrolled myself to MyFitness gym, yesterday since my "ruler" - i.e. my favorite shirts have all started to shrink (* am in denial).. Anyway, met CP, he is the consultant there and gave me a tour of the facilities. He asked me about my budget and all, so i have decided to enrol myself. I think the rate was reasonable. One of the decision to enrol is due to the body fat in my body shows that my body is equivalent to a 42 year old person! Oh gosh I was so surprised and decided, why not. I want 2010 to be a good year for my health,

So InsyaAllah I am planning to go for one of the classes today. So dear gym, here I come.. Woohooo

A day with beautiful Mia Zara

I was sooo looking forward to last Friday, as it was my day out with ended up Yus, Nurul & Mia Zara. We were supposed to meet up at the Bangsar Village but we ended up meeting up at the Curve, We were there from Zuhur about 1 ish up to Maghrib about 8ish pm.
We went eating at Little Penang Village, shopping (various places) and drinking tea at Winter Warmers.

Mia didnt want me to take her away from her mummy but as time passes by, Mia smiled and ok with me carrying her.

Masamnyer Mia..

Cameron Highlands - one day trip with Mystreamclub

I was supposed to attend a brainstorming session in Malacca but due to last minute notification by the organiser, i withdraw myself from it. It's a lucky thing as hubby and I agreed to join the Mystreamclub day trip to Tapah & Cameron Highlands. Boy, it was really tiring but it is all worth it as we get the chance to spend our weekends together and getting to know more wonderful people. We convoyed about 11 cars of course most of the cars were Honda Stream.

We assembled at Rawang R&R at about 10am and made our move up to Tapah almost 1040am. Once we arrived Tapah, we had our lunch - mee rebus Tapah. I loved it but hubby didnt quite like it. We made a stop at Lata Iskandar for abit of shopping :) I bought some fridge magnets just in case it's much expensive up there.

Going through the winding road, we finally arrived up hill at Brinchang. They have Pasar Malam there and since it's school holidays, there were ALOOOTTT of people.

We bought some fruits, vegetables (3 or 4 packets for rm10) , cactus (7 for RM10) and flowers. The funny thing about us buying the vege was, we looked for vege that are suitable to be cooked for Maggi Mee :) So we bough some chillies (bell pepper, red chillies and cabbage) LOL!! We made the flower arrangement on Sunday and wallaaa... this is the outcome. Me likey likeyy,,,

I think it was a wonderful experience as we have never done this before together,It's so refreshing and we drove back to KL via the highway after Isyak and reach home at almost 130am.

We were so tired on Sunday that we slept thru 12pm! That's NOT normal at all since I dont usually like waking up late especially on a weekend.

FUN FUN FUN is the keyword for last weekend. :)

GSPA: I have finally done it!

I have finally done it. I read in a blog, about investing your money into Gold at www.jutawanemas.com and it gets me excited. So since Aug 09 i have been monitoring the Maybank Gold Savings Passbook Account gold counter rate (monitoring..!!! should have done it earlier anyway). At that time, it was RM109/gram. Yesterday, when i have finally did it on 1 Dec 09, i bought it at approximately RM131/gram.
I have wasted 3 months, and it has increased RM22/gram. But never mind, i know it's all worth it. The Maybank rep who attended to me bought 3 years ago at less than RM100/gram. Boy.. if only i know this earlier. One of the benefits in buying gold this manner is, you're buying the 99.9% Gold.

This is actually a family investment fund. We have abit of extra that has been in my account about a year. So this year, I have convinced my mom that we need to do something about it. InsyaAllah.

I have a new year resolution now. I am gonna do alot more investing rather than spending. :) Macam tak percaya jer but just stay tune, i will keep on updating this blog for more info/ investment activities.

Abit of info on Maybank GSPA:
It is very much like an a savings book but you invest or buy gold instead. You dont get physical gold, (which is better since you dont have to worry about keeping the gold at safe deposit etc) but the passbook is used to state the price and number of grams you have.

There is a minimum for you to buy the Gold at Maybank and compare to Public Bank, it is better for small investor like me. You can start to purchase a minimum 5 grams initially and subsequent investment must not be less than 5 grams.
To withdraw the gold you have 2 options.
  1. Gold Wafers @ 10,20 or 50 can be withdrawn at selected branches. One in Shah Alam another one in KL if i am not mistaken.
  2. Another way is of course thecash - the gold holdings can be converted to Ringgit Malaysia equivalent at prevailing market gold price.
Oh dear I am still excited about this and am going to learn more about it!

Love is a four letter word

Hubby and I had the chance to watch the Movie on Hallmark Channel. The movie was about Margaret and Martin Harper, both sixty-years-old, are filing for divorce. They plan to keep everything as civilized as possible. But complications arise when their respective attorneys, the equally cynical Emily Bennett and Kenton Rhodes, unexpectedly fall in love, throwing an extra kink into the proceedings - in and out of the courtroom.
Genre: Romance Format: Movies ; Release Year: 2007
Actors:
Barry Bostwick, Robert Mailhouse, Teri Polo
Directors:
Harvey Frost

Amazingly hubby was the one who wanted to watch the movie because of the interior design of all the houses. It is such a refreshing movie as it reminds us the whole objective of having each other. We just want to grow old together and raise our own future kids, InsyaAllah. May Allah grant the continuos happiness to us. Amin.i love you baby...
